Allen-Bradley 1769-OW16 Compact IO Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-OW16 Compact I/O Output Module provides 16 electromechanical relay outputs for discrete field-device control in CompactLogix control systems. It is mounted on a DIN rail within Compact I/O assemblies and can switch AC or DC loads (application dependent) to drive relays for contactors, motor starters, solenoids, alarms, and indicator lights. Compatible with CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 controllers, this module serves as I/O expansion, a replacement for failed output cards, and a means to integrate AC and DC loads into PLC-based automation. Common replacements include the 1769-OB16 and 1769-OW8; the 1769-OW16 is a 16-channel relay output option in the Allen-Bradley Compact I/O family.
