Allen-Bradley 1769-OG16 DC Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-OG16 is a CompactLogix 16-point TTL DC output module that provides five-volt, low-true digital outputs for the 1769 Compact I/O bus. Designed for 5V TTL loads, each of the 16 outputs can sink up to 24 mA, with an operating range of 4.5 to 5.5 VDC and an off-state voltage of 4.5 to 5.5 VDC while the on-state voltage is 0 to 0.4 VDC. The module delivers fast response times with an off-to-on delay of 0.25 ms and an on-to-off delay of 0.50 ms, suitable for logic-level signaling and simple control circuits. It measures approximately 118 mm high by 35 mm wide by 87 mm deep (4.65 x 1.38 x 3.43 in) and weighs around 0.55 lb, occupying a single slot in the chassis and mounting on a DIN rail or panel. Isolation between each output and the bus is rated for 1200 VAC for 2 seconds (or 1697 VDC for 2 seconds), with a 75 VDC working voltage as per IEC Class II reinforced insulation. Wiring uses 22–14 AWG copper conductors, with terminal torque specified at 0.68 N·m and retaining screws at 0.46 N·m. The 1769-OG16 is powered via the CompactLogix power supplies in the 1769 family (for example, 1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4, or 1769-PB4) and is designed for DIN-rail or panel mounting within a 1769 I/O rack. Typical applications include TTL-compatible control of LEDs, indicators, or other 5V logic devices, as well as interfacing 5V digital signals to a PLC in automation systems.
