Allen-Bradley 1769-OF8C Analog Current Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-OF8C is an eight-channel analog current output module for the CompactLogix 1769 Compact I/O family. It provides eight independent current outputs that can be configured to source 0–20 mA or 4–20 mA per channel, enabling direct control of field devices such as valves, actuators, and process instruments in standard 4–20 mA control loops. The module plugs into a 1769 I/O backplane and integrates with Rockwell Automation’s CompactLogix controllers, enabling straightforward mapping of each channel’s data value in the I/O image. For diagnostics, each channel includes status bits to indicate power-fail conditions and overload/short conditions, helping technicians identify issues in multi-channel loops. The 1769-OF8C supports per-channel 4–20 mA control across all eight outputs, allowing simultaneous adjustment of multiple actuators from a single controller.
