Allen-Bradley 1769-OF2 Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-OF2 is a two-channel analog output module for Compact I/O systems that provides two single-ended outputs from a 1769 backplane to drive analog actuators. Each channel can be configured as a voltage output or a current output with full-scale ranges including 0-10 V, 0-5 V, 1-5 V, 0-20 mA, and 4-20 mA, offering 14-bit resolution (unipolar) or 14-bit with sign for bipolar operation. The module supports a conversion rate of 2.5 ms and a 63% step response of 2.9 ms, enabling responsive control in process and motion tasks. It provides overcurrent protection with a maximum short-circuit current of 21 mA and supports loads greater than 1 kΩ for voltage outputs and 0-500 Ω for current outputs; open- and short-circuit protection is included. The 1769-OF2 is rated for 30 V AC/DC operation and offers output group-to-bus isolation of 500 V AC (710 V DC for 1 minute). A Module OK LED indicates power, diagnostics, and bus communication. Typical module current draw is about 120 mA from the 5 V logic rail or 24 V supply. Dimensions are approximately 118 x 35 x 87 mm and weight about 0.65 lb.
