Allen-Bradley 1769-OB8 DC 8-Point Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-OB8 CompactLogix 8-Point DC Output Module is a solid-state, eight-channel 24V DC sourcing output module for CompactLogix systems. Each channel can source up to 2 A at temperatures up to 60 °C, delivering a total module current rating of 8 A. The operating voltage range is 20.4 to 26.4 V DC, with an on-state voltage drop of up to 1.0 V at 2 A and an off-state leakage current up to 1.0 mA at 26.4 V. Turn-on delay is 0.1 ms and turn-off delay is 1.0 ms at rated load and temperature. The module measures about 118 x 35 x 87 mm (4.65 x 1.38 x 3.43 in) and weighs roughly 280 g (0.61 lb). Outputs are organized in two groups of four, with output-to-bus isolation rated at 1,200 V AC for 1 s or 1,697 V DC for 1 s, and a 75 V DC working voltage between groups. The OB8 is designed for use on 1769 Compact I/O backplanes and can be located up to eight modules away from the power supply. This module is intended to drive 24V loads in automation drops, combining fast switching, high-current capability per channel, and robust isolation within the Rockwell Automation CompactLogix I/O family.
