Allen-Bradley 1769-OB8 8-Point DC Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-OB8 CompactLogix 8-point DC output module provides eight high-power 24V DC source outputs for direct energizing of loads such as relays and coils from a CompactLogix I/O chassis. Each output point can source up to 2 A (8 A total per module) from a 20.4–26.4 V DC supply, enabling robust control of multiple devices from a single module. Turn-on delay is 0.1 ms and turn-off delay is 1.0 ms at 60 °C max load (2 A), with off-state leakage up to 1.0 mA at 26.4 V and an on-state voltage drop up to 1.0 V at 2 A; surge current up to 4 A for 10 ms (repeatable every 2 s). The module measures about 118 × 35 × 87 mm and weighs roughly 280 g, and it carries a power-supply distance rating of 8 modules. Isolation between output points and bus/group boundaries is 1200 V AC for 1 s or 1697 V DC for 1 s, with a 75 V DC working voltage rating for IEC Class II reinforced insulation.
