Allen-Bradley 1769-OB16 Compact IO Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-OB16 is a 16-point 24 VDC sourcing output module for Compact I/O, delivering solid-state, DC sourcing outputs designed to drive field devices from a CompactLogix controller. It operates on 20.4–26.4 V DC and supports a maximum of 0.5 A per point at 60 °C (140 °F) or 1.0 A per point at 30 °C (86 °F), with a total module current rating of up to 4.0 A at 60 °C (8.0 A at 30 °C). The outputs switch with an on-state delay of up to 0.1 ms and an off-state delay of up to 1.0 ms, and offer an off-state leakage current of up to 1.0 mA and an on-state voltage drop of up to 1.0 V at 1 A. Isolation between each output point and the backplane is specified at 1200 V AC for 1 s (or 1697 V DC for 1 s), with a 75 V DC working voltage between the output and the bus under IEC Class II reinforced insulation. The OB16 also supports a surge current of 2 A for 10 ms, repeatable every 2 seconds. As a 16-point, 24 VDC sourcing output module in the Compact I/O family, it integrates with 1769-compatible controllers to provide scalable, distributed control of discrete loads such as relays, indicators, and other 24 VDC devices in automated systems.
