Allen-Bradley 1769-OB16 16-Point DC Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-OB16 is a 16-point DC sourcing output module for the CompactLogix/Compact I/O family, delivering solid-state 24 VDC outputs that source current to loads. It operates on 20.4–26.4 V DC (nominal 24 V) and provides 16 independent outputs with a per-point maximum of 0.5 A at 60 °C (140 °F) and 1.0 A at 30 °C (86 °F), with a module-wide maximum of 4.0 A at 60 °C (8.0 A at 30 °C). The module features an on-delay of 0.1 ms and an off-delay of 1.0 ms, and it provides an on-state voltage drop of up to 1.0 V at 1 A along with an off-state leakage current up to 1.0 mA at 26.4 V DC. Isolation between each output and the backplane is rated at 1,200 VAC for 1 s (or 1,697 V DC for 1 s), and a 75 V DC working voltage with IEC Class II reinforced insulation is specified; a power-supply distance rating allows operation up to eight modules away from the source, with a surge current rating of 2.0 A for 10 ms, repeatable every 2 s.
