Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1769-IR6 is a CompactLogix six-channel RTD/resistance input module that plugs into a 1769 Compact I/O rack to provide six independent RTD inputs for precise temperature sensing. It supports multiple RTD sensor types, including Pt385, Pt3916, Ni672, Ni618, NiFe518, and copper RTDs, with input impedance greater than 10 MΩ to minimize sensor loading. The module provides configurable 50/60 Hz filtering, a sigma-delta converter, and open-circuit detection times from 6 ms to 303 s per channel, with channel-to-rack isolation rated at 720 V DC. Power is supplied from the 24 V backplane (typical 35 mA) with an internal +5 V rail drawing up to 190 mA; the unit weighs about 276 g and supports DIN-rail or panel mounting.
