Allen-Bradley 1769-IR6 6-Channel RTD Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-IR6 is a six-channel RTD/resistance input module for CompactLogix 1769 I/O, designed to read RTD sensors and resistance-based sensors directly into a PLC. It accepts Pt385 (Pt100) and Pt3916 (Pt1000) RTDs, plus Ni672, NiFe518, and Cu10 sensors, across input ranges of 0 to 150 Ω, 0 to 500 Ω, 0 to 1000 Ω, and 0 to 3000 Ω. The module uses a Sigma-Delta converter, provides 720 V DC channel-to-bus isolation (1 minute qualified), an input common-mode voltage range of ±10 V DC, and 110 dB common-mode rejection at 50/60 Hz with the 10/50 Hz or 10/60 Hz filters. Open-circuit detection times span 6 ms to 303 s. Power draw is 100 mA at 5.1 V or 35 mA at 24 V; weight is approximately 276 g; input impedance exceeds 10 MΩ, and normal-mode rejection is about 70 dB. It supports DIN rail or panel mounting and is compatible with CompactLogix systems for precise RTD measurement and resistance sensing.
