Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ32 Discrete Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ32 CompactLogix Digital Input Module provides 32 discrete 24 VDC inputs for monitoring field devices in CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 automation systems, delivering high-density digital signal acquisition for packaging machinery, conveyors, and material handling lines. Each input expects 24 VDC nominal with a 10–30 VDC operating range and is compatible with both sinking and sourcing sensors, arranged as two groups of 16 inputs. The module draws 170 mA from the backplane at 5.1 VDC, features a typical 8 ms ON and 8 ms OFF signal delay, and offers 75 V continuous isolation between groups and the backplane, with mounting options on DIN rail or panel. Operating temperature is 0–60°C, and it is commonly used to monitor proximity sensors, limit switches, pushbuttons, photoelectric sensors, safety interlocks, and other discrete field devices in manufacturing equipment, packaging machinery, conveyor controls, and industrial automation applications requiring reliable digital signal acquisition.
