Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ16 16-Point Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ16 is a 16-point digital input module for the CompactLogix 1769 Compact I/O system. It mounts in a Compact I/O chassis and communicates with a compatible PLC via the 1769 bus to expand digital input capacity. The module provides sixteen 24 VDC digital inputs that can be wired as sinking or sourcing, enabling flexible connections to sensors, switches, and other field devices. It operates on a 10–30 VDC input range, accommodating common industrial power supplies. Input-to-bus isolation is rated to 1,200 VAC (1 s) or 1,697 VDC (1 s), ensuring safety between the backplane and field wiring. As a member of the CompactLogix family, the 1769-IQ16 is designed for use with 1769 Compact I/O modules in a variety of automation applications, including machinery panels, packaging lines, and process skids where digital sensing is required.
