Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ16 16-Point DC Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ16 is a CompactLogix 16-point, 24 VDC input module that provides 16 digital inputs, arranged as two banks of eight, and supports both sinking and sourcing wiring for flexible integration with 24 VDC sensors and switches. It accepts an operating range of 10–30 V DC at 30°C (10–26.4 V DC at 60°C), with an input impedance of about 3 kΩ; on-state voltage must be at least 10 V with at least 2 mA, while off-state voltage stays below 5 V with up to 1.5 mA of leakage. The input delay is 8 ms for both on and off transitions, and the maximum input inrush is 250 mA. The module draws up to 115 mA from the 5 V bus and dissipates approximately 3.55 W. Isolation between input points and the bus is rated at 1200 VAC for 1 s (and 1697 V DC for 1 s), with a 75 V DC working voltage between points and bus (IEC Class II reinforced insulation). Physical size is 118 × 35 × 87 mm (4.65 × 1.38 × 3.43 in) and weight around 270 g (0.60 lb).
