Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ16 16-Point Digital Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ16 is a 16-point digital input module for CompactLogix/Compact I/O that supports 24 VDC sinking or sourcing inputs. The module groups its 16 inputs in two banks of 8 points, with a 10–30 VDC operating range (10–26.4 VDC at 60 °C), an 8 ms input delay, and a 115 mA current draw at 5.1 V. Input-to-bus isolation is rated at 1200 VAC for 1 s or 1697 V DC for 1 s, with 75 V DC working voltage (IEC Class II reinforced insulation); the unit measures approximately 118 x 35 x 87 mm and weighs about 270 g. It interfaces to the controller via the Compact Bus backplane and supports both sinking and sourcing field devices, enabling flexible wiring in a CompactLogix system.
