Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ16 16-Channel Digital Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-IQ16 is a 16-channel, 24 VDC digital input module for the Compact I/O family, designed to accept sinking or sourcing inputs from 24 V sensors and to interface with a CompactLogix backplane. It supports IEC Type 1+ input compatibility, with an input impedance of approximately 3 kΩ per channel and an operating voltage range of 10–30 V DC (30 °C) or 10–26.4 V DC (60 °C). The module adds an input delay of about 8 ms and provides input-to-bus isolation rated up to 1200 V AC for 1 s or 1697 V DC for 1 s, enabling safe operation in industrial environments. Physical dimensions are ~118 mm high, 35 mm wide, 87 mm deep and it weighs ~270 g; the unit is mountable on a DIN rail or panel using the standard 1769 mounting scheme, with backplane power supplied via the 1769 system backplane. For serviceability, compatible replacement parts include 1769-RTBN18 terminal block and 1769-RD / 1769-RL1 replacement doors.
