Allen-Bradley 1769-IF16C Sixteen Channel Analog Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-IF16C is a CompactLogix 16-channel analog input module that accepts DC current signals from field devices via 16 input channels on the Compact I/O bus. It mounts in a 1769 Compact I/O backplane and can be DIN rail or panel mounted in an open-style enclosure, powered through a compatible 1769 power supply (1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4, or 1769-PB4). The module provides 22 input words, 2 output words, and 98 configuration words, and supports wiring with 22-14 AWG solid or 22-16 AWG stranded copper conductors; replacement terminal block 1769-RTBN18 and replacement door 1769-RL2 (Series B) or 1769-RD are available. An over-range/under-range indicator flags when a measured signal exceeds the programmed range; Rockwell’s documentation notes the unit is designed for current-loop sensors and supports both two-wire loop-powered and three-wire self-powered transmitters.
