Allen-Bradley 1769-IA8I 8-Channel 120V AC Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-IA8I is an 8-channel, individually isolated 120 V AC input module for CompactLogix/Compact I/O systems. It accepts 79–132 V AC signals at 47–63 Hz (100/120 V AC category) with 132 V AC working isolation between each input and the backplane, and isolation is validated by dielectric tests to 1517 V AC for 1 s or 2145 V DC for 1 s. Each channel provides a 20 ms input delay (on and off) and an input impedance up to 12 kΩ at 50 Hz (10 kΩ at 60 Hz). The module draws about 90 mA from the 5.1 V supply and dissipates up to roughly 1.81 W; its approximate dimensions are 118 x 35 x 87 mm and it weighs about 270 g. Eight digitally isolated inputs are housed in a Compact I/O form factor compatible with the 1769 backplane for simple integration with a CompactLogix controller.
