Allen-Bradley 1769-IA16 16-Channel Digital Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-IA16 is a CompactLogix 16-channel AC digital input module that plugs into a 1769 Compact I/O backplane and can be mounted on a DIN rail or panel. Each of its 16 inputs accepts a 79–132 V AC signal (nominal 120 V), enabling direct interfacing of line‑voltage sensors and relays to a Rockwell Automation PLC. The module uses standard screw terminals with 22–14 AWG copper conductors (solid) or 22–16 AWG stranded, and is compatible with replacement terminal blocks such as 1769-RTBN18. For power, it requires a compatible 1769 power supply within the same system (for example 1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4, or 1769-PB4) and communicates over the 1769 I/O backplane to the controller. Ideal for machine monitoring, process control, and general on/off sensing in automation architectures that rely on AC input signals.
