Allen-Bradley 1769-IA16 16-Point Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-IA16 is a CompactLogix 16-point AC digital input module designed for use in Compact I/O backplanes within Rockwell Automation control systems. It offers 16 input channels with an internally connected common per group. Its operating voltage range is 79–132 VAC (nominal 100/120 VAC) at 47–63 Hz. Its dimensions are approximately 118 x 35 x 87 mm and the unit weighs about 280 g. Electrical timing and electrical characteristics include an input delay of 20 ms (on) and 20 ms (off); current draw of roughly 115 mA at 5.1 V; and an input impedance up to 12 kΩ (50 Hz) / 10 kΩ (60 Hz). Input isolation is rated with input point to bus isolation tested to 1517 V AC for 1 s and 2145 V DC for 1 s, with IEC Class II reinforced insulation and a 132 V AC working voltage. Part of the 1769 Compact I/O family, the IA16 provides sixteen 120 VAC input points suitable for connecting field devices to a CompactLogix controller.
