Allen-Bradley 1769-IA16 16-Point Digital Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-IA16 is a 16-channel AC digital input module for CompactLogix 1769 I/O backplanes, providing sixteen isolated input points for 79–132 V AC signals (nominally 100–120 VAC) at 50/60 Hz and feeding a common backplane reference to the controller. Each channel is galvanically isolated from the backplane, with a working voltage of 132 V AC and a dielectric strength verified up to 1517 V AC for 1 second between input point and bus. The module offers a 20 ms input delay for both on and off transitions, and its electrical characteristics include an on-state current from a minimum of 5 mA at 74 V AC to a maximum of 12 mA at 120 V AC, an off-state current up to 2.5 mA with off-state voltage up to 20 V AC, and an input impedance of about 12 kΩ at 50 Hz (10 kΩ at 60 Hz). It draws roughly 115 mA at 5.1 V for internal logic and weighs about 280 g with approximate dimensions of 118 x 35 x 87 mm.
