Allen-Bradley 1769-ECR End Cap Right for Compact I/O is the right-hand terminator for Compact I/O backplanes in 1769 CompactLogix racks. This Rev 2 end cap mates with the 1769 bus to properly terminate the I/O bank at the rack’s far right, preventing stray signals and maintaining bus integrity when the end of the module chain is installed. Designed for use with 1769 Compact I/O modules, it is the standard companion to the 1769-ECL left end cap and is installed on the far right of the I/O rack to complete the circuit. As a passive component, the 1769-ECR contains no active electronics; its purpose is mechanical and electrical termination of the backplane.
