Allen-Bradley 1769-AENTRK Ethernet IP Adapter

The Allen-Bradley 1769-AENTRK Ethernet IP Adapter is a CompactLogix EtherNet/IP adapter that provides a single network interface for connecting remote I/O to a CompactLogix controller. It is designed for distributed I/O configurations where a remote rack houses 1769 I/O modules and communicates with the main controller over EtherNet/IP. The AENTRK plugs into the 1769 I/O family’s Ethernet path and participates in standard EtherNet/IP data exchange, enabling the controller to read inputs and write outputs across the network.

Compared with the dual-port 1769-AENTR, the AENTRK offers a single Ethernet network interface. This makes it suitable for installations that require a single, dedicated Ethernet path to remote I/O without the additional port topology capabilities of the AENTR family. The AENTRK is part of Rockwell Automation’s CompactLogix Ethernet/IP adapter lineup and is used to extend Ethernet connectivity to remote I/O drops in a CompactLogix system, supporting integration with 1769-series I/O modules and standard EtherNet/IP communications for scalable, modular control architectures.
