Allen-Bradley 1764-24AWA MicroLogix 1500 Controller with 1764-LSP is a compact 12-input, 12-output MicroLogix 1500 base unit paired with a single-serial-port processor. The 1764-24AWA base provides 12 discrete inputs and 12 relay outputs and accepts line power in the 85–265 VAC range; the 120 VAC input terminals have an on-state range of 79–132 VAC and an off-state range of 0–20 VAC, with 47–63 Hz input signal compatibility. The total load the base and I/O can control is limited to 1440 VA, and expansion allows up to 512 I/O points total. The 1764-LSP CPU module supplies the MicroLogix 1500’s processing and a single RS-232 serial port for programming and communications. The overall package is suitable for small packaging lines, conveyors, and basic machine sequencing where a compact, field-wired I/O solution is paired with a dedicated PLC CPU. Base unit dimensions are 5.43 in. (D) x 6.62 in. (W) x 3.43 in. (H). This model, along with the 1764-LSP, was officially discontinued by Rockwell Automation on June 30, 2017.
