Allen-Bradley 1756-TBCH Terminal Block Module

The Allen-Bradley 1756-TBCH is a 36-pin cage-clamp removable terminal block that mates with ControlLogix 1756 I/O modules, providing the field wiring interface for the module’s input and output channels within a standard housing. Designed for reliability in industrial environments, the TBCH accepts 0.33–2.1 mm² (22–14 AWG) copper conductors, solid or stranded, with insulation up to 1.2 mm, and specifies no more than two conductors per terminal to prevent overloading. Screw terminals are tightened to 0.5 N·m (4.4 lb-in) to ensure consistent electrical contact, and the removable design allows quick field wiring changes or module replacements without disconnecting the backplane. Used across ControlLogix systems, the TBCH is the standard field-wiring interface for many 1756 I/O modules and is part of the TBCH family (including TBCHS and TBCHXT variants), enabling straightforward wiring of sensors, actuators, and other field devices while keeping wiring organized and modular.
