The Allen-Bradley 1756-L73 ControlLogix Processor (Logix5573) is a high-capacity modular CPU designed for large ControlLogix systems. It provides 8 MB of user memory and 0.98 MB of I/O memory to support complex logic, data logging, and extensive tagging without paging delays. The unit includes a USB port for programming and diagnostics and an Ethernet port, typically 10/100 Mbps, for EtherNet/IP communications and remote monitoring across a plant network. Capable of addressing up to 128,000 I/O points, including up to 4,000 analog I/O channels, the L73 is well suited to expansive machine control, batch processes, and distributed control architectures within multi-rack configurations.
