Allen-Bradley 1756-DNB DeviceNet Communication Module

The Allen-Bradley 1756-DNB DeviceNet Communication Module is a single-port DeviceNet interface for Rockwell ControlLogix systems, serving as the bridge between a DeviceNet network and the ControlLogix backplane. It installs in any slot of a compatible ControlLogix chassis and uses an open-style DeviceNet connector (5- or 10-pin) to connect field devices. It supports three DeviceNet baud rates—125 Kbps (up to 500 m), 250 Kbps (up to 250 m), and 500 Kbps (up to 100 m)—allowing you to tailor speed and distance to your network layout. The DeviceNet network must be powered from a SELV or PELV source for CE compliance, and the module draws DeviceNet power from the network.
