The Allen-Bradley 1747-L542 is a SLC 500 Series 5/04 CPU module that serves as the central processing unit for modular SLC 500 controllers. It provides a total of 32K words of memory, consisting of 28K words for program memory and 4K words for data memory, enabling compact control logic and data handling. The CPU is designed for use in backplane-based SLC 500 racks and is programmed with Rockwell's RSLogix 500 software, supporting ladder logic and other classic SLC programming languages.
