Allen-Bradley 1734-IB8S Safety Sinking Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1734-IB8S Safety Sinking Input Module is an 8-point safety sinking input block for POINT I/O Guard I/O safety systems, designed to monitor safety devices such as emergency stop buttons, safety interlocks, and light curtains within Logix-based control architectures. It provides eight 24V DC sinking inputs (current sourcing devices required) that feed GuardLogix or Compact GuardLogix controllers via the POINT I/O safety adapter, with DIN-rail mounting and an operating temperature range of 0 to 55°C. Rated for SIL 3 / PL e applications (system dependent), this module is commonly used to expand machine safety panels, robotic cells, packaging equipment, and automated production lines, or to replace existing safety input modules in industrial automation environments.
