Allen-Bradley 150-A97NBDB SMC Plus Open is a high-current soft-start motor controller in the SMC Plus family, rated for 97 A and designed to start and protect three-phase motors powered from 200–480 VAC. This open enclosure unit is panel-mount capable and supports 50/60 Hz operation with a line voltage range of 200–480 VAC, delivering up to 55 kW (about 75 HP) at the higher voltages. The controller uses 100–240 VAC single-phase control power and provides one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact, with protective features including RC snubber DV/DT protection and MOV-based transient protection to aid motor longevity.
