Description:

The Allen-Bradley 1494V-M41 operating mechanism is a flange-mounted, three-pole circuit breaker mechanism rated for 125 A. It is not a complete breaker by itself and must be paired with a connecting rod, an operating handle, and a compatible three-pole circuit breaker to form a functional device. This mechanism is designed for use with Allen-Bradley/Cutler-Hammer breakers such as the 140U-H (MCCP) and 140M-H (MCP) families, and is listed as compatible with EF and HMCPE type breakers in enclosures up to 24 inches deep. It belongs to the 1494V family of variable-depth, flange-mounted operating mechanisms, allowing installation in panels where a flange-mounted solution is required. Because the electrical characteristics come from the matched breaker and handle kit, the 1494V-M41’s role is to provide the mechanical actuation interface for the configured 125 A, three-pole assembly rather than to specify voltage or current ratings on its own. When correctly assembled with the appropriate components, it enables controlled operation of the associated breaker in industrial panels and distribution enclosures that accept the 1494V mechanical package.
