Allen-Bradley 1492-IFM40F-FS24A-4 is a 40-point isolated fusible digital interface module (IFM) in Rockwell Automation’s 1492 I/O wiring family. It provides 40 field digital inputs with individual fuse protection and operates on a 24 V AC/DC supply within a 10–30 V range, featuring blown fuse indicators for the input channels. The unit uses 5 x 20 mm fuse clips and offers four terminals per input, enabling field wiring to sensors and switches via pre-wired 1492 cables. As a galvanically isolated interface, it separates the field side from the controller to help protect the control system from fault conditions.
