Allen-Bradley 1492-CM1771-LD001 Programmable Logic Controller Module

Allen-Bradley 1492-CM1771-LD001 is a Swing-Arm Field-Wire Conversion Module that directly bridges 1771 IAD (16-point input, 79–138 Vac/dc) or 1771-IBD (16-point input, 10–30 Vdc) modules to the corresponding 1756-IA16 (74–132 Vac) or 1756-IB16 (10–32.2 Vdc) input modules, enabling PLC-5 I/O to be wired into ControlLogix systems. It uses a 25-pin connector for the 1492-CONCABX cable and connections to the 1771 I/O block, routing signals to the 1756 side through the conversion path. The module must be installed in a 1492 conversion base-plate and cover-plate assembly, and it pairs with pre-wired 1492-CONCABX cables in lengths of 0.5 m or 1.0 m. This device is part of the PLC-5 to ControlLogix I/O conversion system and is designed to translate field wiring from 1771 IAD or 1771 IBD I/O to the corresponding 1756 modules, supporting 16-point configurations on both sides and enabling migration from PLC-5 1771 I/O to ControlLogix 1756 I/O without replacing the entire I/O network.
