ABB RETA-01 Ethernet Adaptor Module

The RETA-01 Ethernet Adapter Module is a 1‑port Ethernet interface for ABB drives that connects a drive to Ethernet networks using EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP. As part of ABB’s R‑series, the RETA‑01 supports two communication protocols and can act as a Modbus/TCP server with support for the ABB drives profile; protocol selection is performed from a drive parameter. The module is listed as compatible with ABB drive families including ACS550, ACH550, ACS800, and DCS800/ACQ800. Through the RETA‑01 you can issue drive commands (start/stop/run enable), provide speed or torque references, read status information and process values, and modify drive parameters.
