ABB RAIO-01-KIT Bus Adapter

The ABB RAIO-01-KIT is an analog I/O extension (bus adapter) for ABB ACS800 and DCS800 drives, designed to expand the drive’s analog input and output capabilities. The module provides two configurable analog inputs and two analog outputs; inputs can be configured as unipolar current (0–20 mA) or bipolar voltage (±0–10 V or ±0–2 V), with the unipolar inputs at 12-bit resolution, bipolar inputs at 11-bit, and the outputs at 12-bit resolution. All analog I/O are galvanically isolated as a group from each other and from the drive power supply, and the unit draws about 120 mA from a 250 mA supply. Physical connections include a 38-pin parallel bus connector and two 6-pole terminal blocks for wires up to 2.5 mm2, plus a rotary node-ID switch (1–15) and DIP switches to select input type and signal level, with IP20 protection. Mounting options include insertion into an RMIO board slot on the drive or mounting on an external AIMA-01 I/O Module Adapter; this kit is identified as RAIO-01-KIT (+L500) and is ABB’s analog I/O extension for the ACS800/DCS800 family.
