ABB K-DON 600S Solid State Trip Unit

ABB's Power Shield solid-state trip unit for the K-DON 600S provides electronic overcurrent protection for a 600 A, 3-pole, 600 V low‑voltage circuit breaker. Originally supplied with ABB's solid-state trip device, this unit can be upgraded to a modern solid-state trip unit that offers Long-Time, Instantaneous, and Ground-Fault (LIG) protection to meet evolving protection schemes. The 600S frame is rated for 600 A at 600 V, with a short-circuit capability of up to 200 kA at 480 V, making it well suited for demanding industrial switching and distribution applications. As part of the K-line KDON family, the Power Shield trip unit integrates with the KDON 600S assembly to deliver precise, fast protection and coordinated tripping in typical three-phase systems.
