The Allen-Bradley 1771-OBN PLC-5 DC Output Module is a 32-point DC output module for PLC-5 backplanes, delivering 10–30 V DC output signals. It groups outputs into four banks of eight and uses a source (high-true) output topology that requires a sink to complete the circuit. Designed for PLC-5 Series B controllers and later, it plugs into standard 1771 I/O racks and follows PLC-5 I/O topology for addressing. Common applications include driving DC relays, contactors, and other DC actuators in industrial automation, with an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 °C.
