Armstrong GD-45 Live Steam Pressure Regulator

Armstrong GD-45-1-7/60 Direct-Acting Live Steam Pressure Regulator is a 1-inch regulator designed to maintain downstream steam pressure in live-steam systems. Built for steam service, it uses a ductile iron body with a hardened stainless steel valve seat and a phosphor bronze bellows, and is rated for temperatures up to 450 F (232 C). The GD-45 family is offered in 1/2", 3/4", and 1" sizes, with the 1" model GD-45-1-7/60 providing a downstream setpoint range of 7 to 60 psi (0.48–4.1 bar) and a minimum differential of 7 psi, enabling stable pressure control in boilers, steam lines, and heat exchangers. For the 1" size, the flow capacity (Cv) is about 2.5, reflecting its suitability for moderate to higher steam flows. This regulator is intended for steam, air, and non-corrosive gas services in industrial HVAC and process environments where maintaining a consistent downstream pressure is essential for safe and efficient operation of condensers, heat exchangers, and other steam-using equipment.
